Hi, my name is Krissy Greenleaf. And this is my dog, Duelli. We have decided to participate in the Honolulu AIDS Marathon that is scheduled to take place on December 11, 2005. (Well, Duelli is going to keep me company while I train, but he won't be running in the marathon.) Training for us begins on June 11, 2005, so we'll keep you all posted on our progress. WHO:

WHAT:
Raising $3400 by August 30th, 2005, to run in the AIDS Marathon

WHERE:
Honolulu, Hawaii

WHEN:
December 11, 2005

WHY:
1) First and foremost: To help in the search to find the cure for AIDS.

2) To meet new people because we just moved to the D.C. area on May 1.

3) To lose 7 pounds and to increase muscle mass because I am getting married on December 31st.

HOW:
1) By asking for your donations. If you don't know how much to give, a suggested amount is $1 per mile ($26.20), but any amount is greatly appreciated.

2) By selling AIDS awareness bracelets. (To view and/or purchase them, you can go to "Pictures" on the left-hand side of this page. They are $15 each.
